Objective of the Scheme The Tourism Commission of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups are jointly organising the Hong Kong Young Ambassador Scheme 2004. This scheme is one of the major projects under 'A Hospitable Hong Kong' Campaign. The aim of the Scheme is to encourage and train young people to be Ambassadors for Hong Kong, in order to:
Programme of the Scheme Participants of the Hong Kong Young Ambassador Scheme are required to attend a series of training programmes to improve their knowledge and understanding, not only about the role and function of being Hong Kong Young Ambassadors (HKYAs), but also about Hong Kong. They will take part in receiving tourists in Hong Kong and large-scale promotional campaigns and spread the message of hospitality to the community. For the HKYAs overseas, they will be responsible for organising promotional activities about Hong Kong. How to Apply The Hong Kong Young Ambassador Scheme 2004 is open for recruitment. Eligibility
