Five day week

With effect from 1 July 2006, the opening hours of the Inland Revenue Department will be from 8:15 am to 5:30 pm from Monday to Friday, with one-hour lunch break.

From the same day, the opening hours of the following counter / frontline service will be -

Counter Services
Central Enquiry Counter Receipt and Despatch Counter		Monday to Friday 8:15 am to 5:30 pm
Business Registration
-	Enquiry Counter	Monday to Friday
	If you want to collect the amended business registration certificate on the same day, please forward your notification of change and the full relevant information to the counter staff at least half an hour before the counter's closure.	8:15 am to 5:30 pm

-	New Business Registration Counter	Monday to Friday
	If you want to pay the fee and collect the business registration certificate on the same day, please submit your properly completed application to counter staff at least half an hour before the counter's closure.	8:45 am to 5:00 pm

-	Shroff Office	Monday to Friday 8:45 am to 5:00 pm

Estate Duty - General Enquiry		Monday to Friday 8:15 am to 12:30 pm & 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm
- Oath and Affirmation Services		Monday to Friday 10:00 am to 11:30 am & 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm
Stamp Duty - Documents Assessment & Payment		Monday to Friday 8:45 am to 5:00 pm

The service hours lost on Saturdays will be fully made up by extension of service hours on weekdays.
