THE ICAO SAFETY MANAGEMENT MANUAL (English / French / Spanish / Russian / Chinese / Arabic)
The ICAO Safety Management Manual (Doc 9859-AN/460) is intended to serve as a source of information and guidance on safety management. The manual is a consolidation of the Accident Prevention Manual (Doc 9422), a draft manual on Safety Management for Air Traffic Services, and a draft manual on Safety Management for Aerodrome Operators. It includes an initial section that discusses generic safety management concepts, applicable across aviation activities, followed by sections aimed at specific activities (operators, maintenance organizations, air traffic service providers and aerodrome operators).
